This website, howtocrypto101.com, is operated by Frogner Media, trading as Crypto for Beginners and How to Crypto 101.

Throughout these Terms of Service, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Frogner Media. “You” and “your” refer to any visitor, customer or purchaser using the website or purchasing our digital products.

By accessing this website or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and our Return and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the website or purchase our products.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to offer and sell our products. Your purchase contract is with Frogner Media, not Shopify.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase our products.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

The website and product are not intended for children.

4. Our digital product

Crypto for Beginners is an English-language educational ebook delivered as a digital PDF.

No physical book or other physical product will be shipped. The product requires a device capable of opening standard PDF files, such as a modern phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

You are responsible for ensuring that your device and software can access a standard PDF file. Free PDF-reading software is available for all major operating systems.

5. Educational information only

The ebook and all information available through this website are provided solely for general educational and informational purposes.

Nothing in the ebook or on the website constitutes:

8. Prices, currency and taxes

Unless stated otherwise, prices are displayed in United States dollars.

The total price and any applicable tax will be shown during checkout before you confirm payment. Taxes may vary according to your location and applicable law.

You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method selected during checkout for the amount displayed before purchase.

Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion charges or other fees that are outside our control.

9. Payments

Payments are processed through Shopify and supported third-party payment providers. We do not directly store complete payment-card details.

Your use of a particular payment provider may also be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy notice.

You must use a payment method that you are legally authorized to use.

10. Digital delivery

The ebook is normally delivered electronically after payment has been successfully confirmed. A download link may be displayed after checkout or sent to the email address provided with your order.

You are responsible for entering a valid email address and checking your spam or junk folder.

If you do not receive the product, the download link does not work, or the file is damaged, contact support@howtocrypto101.com. We will attempt to provide a working replacement without unreasonable delay.

11. Licence and permitted use

When you purchase the ebook, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may:

  • Download the ebook to your personal devices

  • Make reasonable backup copies for your personal use

  • Print one copy for your personal use

You may not:

  • Share the ebook or download link with another person

  • Upload the ebook to a website, file-sharing service or social platform

  • Copy, reproduce, publish or distribute the ebook

  • Sell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit the ebook

  • Modify the ebook and distribute the modified version

  • Remove copyright, ownership or attribution notices

  • Use substantial portions of the ebook to create a competing product

  • Use the ebook to train an artificial-intelligence system without our written permission

Purchasing the ebook does not transfer ownership of its intellectual-property rights.

12. Intellectual property

The ebook, website text, design, branding, graphics and original materials are owned by or licensed to Frogner Media and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.

Names and trademarks belonging to cryptocurrency projects, platforms or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion for educational purposes does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement.

13. Returns, cancellation and refunds

Because this is a digital product supplied electronically, physical returns are not applicable.

Refunds, defective-file remedies and cancellation rights are governed by our Return and Refund Policy:

Where applicable law provides a withdrawal period, we will respect that right. For customers in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the right to withdraw from immediately delivered digital content may only be lost when the legally required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.

We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party cryptocurrency services, exchanges, wallets, platforms, websites or security failures outside our control.

Where permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or any mandatory consumer right.

We will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including major internet outages, cyberattacks, power failures, natural disasters, governmental action or failures of essential third-party platforms.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of such events. Your mandatory rights relating to non-delivery or defective digital content remain unaffected.

22. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact support@howtocrypto101.com and include your order number and a clear description of the issue. We aim to respond within five business days.

We will first attempt to resolve complaints directly and fairly.

Consumers may also have the right to seek assistance from an applicable consumer-protection or alternative dispute-resolution body. Norwegian consumers may contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority, Forbrukertilsynet, where applicable.

23. Governing law

These Terms and contracts entered into through this website are governed by Norwegian law.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of the country where you normally reside.

Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be submitted to the competent Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring the matter before another court or dispute-resolution body.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy and the product and checkout information displayed when you place an order, form the agreement between you and Frogner Media regarding your use of the website and purchase of the digital product.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or legal obligations.
